This step involves the selection <strong>of</strong> indicators <strong>based</strong> on the strategy, objectives and goals (or the<br />

linkages between them); the selection <strong>of</strong> appropriate data collection methods; and a detailed<br />

monitoring plan. These issues are covered in other sections <strong>of</strong> the Manual and Toolbox. Figure T6<br />

presents a set <strong>of</strong> possible indicators linked to the objectives and goals <strong>of</strong> a <strong>land</strong> use planning project<br />
