The Competition<br />
Formula Student<br />
Formula Student is an international event which challenges<br />
engineering students from all around the world to design and<br />
manufacture a single-seat racing car<br />
Our Objectives<br />
In 2012, our team’s aim is to participate to the 3 main races in Europe<br />
and to become the French leader in this competition<br />
Races 2012 : - Silverstone (United Kingdom)<br />
- Hockenheim (Germany)<br />
- Györ (Hungary)
Our career in this competition<br />
GENESIS<br />
Year 2010<br />
Engine : 4 cylinders’ Honda 600 CBR<br />
Weight : 295 Kg (650 Lbs)<br />
As this project was the first single-seat<br />
racing car build made by engineering<br />
students of our school (ENIM), it will<br />
remain a model for the next generations<br />
RAFALE<br />
Year 2011<br />
Engine : 4 cylinders’ Honda 600 CBR<br />
Weight : 235 Kg (518 Lbs)<br />
Thanks to a weight gain of 60 Kg<br />
(132 Lbs) this car is much more<br />
efficient and shows improvements<br />
on many points
FEARLESS PROJECT<br />
Each year represents an opportunity to improve our design. This year we<br />
will be focusing on the following aspects :<br />
- Design a car whose weight does not exceed 200kg (441 Lbs)<br />
- Switch the engine to a single cylinder engine<br />
- Increase the efficiency and overall reliability of the car<br />
With these goals, we hope to gain a reputation in the Formula Student's<br />
world to develop our image and to perpetuate our partnerships
