In the wake of the
discontinuation of the HP P
Combi-Plan 4x5 tank, our r
industry has struggled to find a
new solution to daylight processing sing
sheets of 4x5 film. Search no further, rther,
the answer is here! The MOD54,
brainchild of UK photographer Morgan
O’Donovan, is designed to fit perfectly rfectly
inside the Paterson Multi-Reel 3 Tank
and process up to 6 sheets of 4x5 x5
film at once. It is made of nearly y
indestructible plastic, is modular r to
facilitate cleaning, and has ridges es on
the top to help guide the film into nto
place in the dark. Once the film is
loaded and the light-tight Paterson son
funnel is in place, it’s time to open
your eyes to the ease of daylight
processing. Turn on the lights, pour in
a liter of the proper chemicals, put on
the Paterson lid and begin agitation
per the developer instructions. It’s
recommended to process for at
least 16 minutes to achieve proper
development; so, dilution of chemicals
4" x 5" film developing in the light is back with the new
MOD54 film developing module for a Paterson film developing tank
may be necessary. necessary If processing
less than 6 sheets, sheets O’Donovan
recommends filling the reel with
dummy, placeholder sheets of film so
the amount of chemicals and quality
of agitation are still optimal. Also, if
processing color film, pre-soaking for
about 5 minutes is a good idea. We’re

The Harman Titan 8x10 inch
Pinhole Camera is designed
in conjunction with and
manufactured in the UK by Walker
Cameras. The camera is made from
injection moulded ABS, finished
with a very durable non-slip coating,
making the camera exceptionally
robust to withstand extreme natural
elements, and rough handling, yet
weighs only 800grams.
The camera,
which can be used with any photographic
film or paper, takes an 8 x 10
film holder and features tripod mount
positions, built-in spirit levels, and
an accessory mount. The camera itself
comes with a 150mm (5.9in) focal
length cone. The chemically etched
pinhole has a diameter of 0.52mm
(0.0205in). It features a fixed lens
aperture of f/288 and a 94.7 degree
angle of view.
