Objectives and competences:
Students:
- Get knowledge about social process in health care;
- recognize the meaning of illness prevention and consideration of meaning of prevention;
- get familiar with the values of health and roles of individuals, family, local community and society in
strengthening and maintaining health;
- get familiar with tasks and roles of health care providers in health promotion;
- get familiar with applicative connection between theory and practice;

- Student recognizes and understands the basic determinants of health.
- Recognize the basic public health problems among the population
Transferable/Key Skills and other attributes:
- Is capable to form the actual educational health promotional programs in nursing care and primary health
care.
