The Martabe Project: Resources and Reserves
As at 5th September 2011 Mineral Resources are 7.46Moz of gold
and 72.60Moz of silver at an average grade of 1.4g/t gold and 13.6g/
t of silver.
Cash operating costs are expected to be low by international standards
because of Martabe’s competitive strengths including; scale,
good grade, all surface deposits, location, long life and upside.
Ore Reserves from Purnama, Barani and Ramba Joring total
3.03Moz of gold and 33.63Moz of silver in 45.5Mt of ore at a grade
of 2.1g/t gold and 23.0g/t of silver.
The Martabe Project: Competitive Strength
Based on the current reserves only, the life of the mine is expected
to be more than ten years, with annual production of approximately
250,000oz of gold and 2-3Moz of silver.
The Martabe Project: Exploration Upside
The Martabe COW consists of 1,639 km 2 within the highly prospective
Sumatran gold belt, which outside of the immediate Martabe area
has been relatively underexplored.
The Gambir-Kapur district is the only area on the COW, outside the
immediate Martabe area, where drilling has been conducted by previous
owners. Outstanding intersections have been recorded from
this early work.
