Florida’s <strong>Turnpike</strong> over I-595<br />

this project is being implemented under a P3<br />

agreement which is a public-private partnership<br />

that has been created between the florida<br />

department of transportation and acs<br />

Infrastructure development, a private entity that<br />

serves as the project concessionaire. Under the P3<br />

agreement, the concessionaire is responsible for<br />

designing, building, financing, operating, and<br />

maintaining the project. fdot district four and the<br />

turnpike serve as funding partners for this project.<br />

the turnpike will maintain and operate the toll<br />

collection facilities after the project has been<br />

completed.<br />

replace and Widen the ramp<br />

bridge over the turnpike<br />

mainline at Pga boulevard in<br />

Palm beach county.<br />

this is a project to replace and widen the existing<br />

ramp bridge over the turnpike mainline/s.r. 91<br />

at Pga boulevard in Palm beach county. the<br />

existing one-lane bridge has a substandard vertical<br />

clearance. also, the existing bridge envelope does<br />

not provide for the future eight-lane widening<br />

of the turnpike mainline in this location. the new<br />

bridge will consist of two spans and two northbound<br />

off-ramp lanes with an overall length of 245 feet.<br />

the vertical clearance will be 17.2 feet. signing,<br />

FY 2011 - FY 2035<br />

lighting, drainage, and other elements are included<br />

in the project design. this project is programmed for<br />

construction in fY 2012.<br />

length of 261 feet. the vertical clearance will be 17<br />

feet. various signing, lighting, drainage, and other<br />

elements are also included in the design. this<br />

project is programmed for construction in fY 2012.<br />

spacing along the turnpike mainline, from snapper<br />

creek in miami-dade county to okahumpka in<br />

sumter county. the service plazas and their<br />
