⎯ An individual who refuses to submit to a test or has a verified positive drug test will be removed immediately from the safetysensitive function, referred to an SAP, and provided educational materials (regardless of whether the employee will be discharged or given a second chance). ⎯ Any further disciplinary action must be detailed in the policy and specified as being transit agency-mandated, not FTA-mandated.
