Compact Ethernet Terminals
Access’ AKET027 is a tough, compact operator terminal that
connects over a standard Ethernet infrastructure.
Description
The AKET027 is a tough, compact operator terminal that
connects to the controlling host using TCP/IP over 10
Base-T Ethernet cable infrastructure.
To suit the most demanding applications for accurate,
fast and reliable keyboard input, the keypad uses
ergonomic PC key caps and full-travel Cherry key switch
technology.
The layout of the keypad is flexible and may be fully
customised to meet your exact requirements.
The clear, easy to read display is available in high
visibility Vacuum Fluorescent (luminous green
characters) or standard liquid crystal with backlight. Both
displays are suitable for use in a wide range of lighting
conditions.
Two host-addressable serial ports are provided to enable
the connection of data capture equipment or to enable
communication with other systems. Power for connected
devices is provided to the serial DB9 connectors by the
internal power convertor.
Rapid application development for Microsoft Windows TM
Developers is provided by Access ActiveX control.

Applications
The terminals are designed and manufactured to offer a
flexible solution for any application that requires compact
Ethernet terminal input.
For applications that require fewer than 27 key positions
blanking tiles can be fitted to redundant keys. Caps can be
fitted in place of the tiles to suit future applications.
