BGR125
2D and Contactless Boarding Gate Reader
An innovative boarding gate solution for the new era of
2D BCBP contactless/NFC phone reading capability.
Description
Access’ BGR125 takes the very successful BGR120S and
upgrades it with advanced contactless reading capability to
provide a highly compact BGR capable of reading 2D BCBP
and contactless media, including NFC enabled phones.
The BGR125 reads 2D bar coded boarding passes (BCBPs)
and home-printed passes face up, making it easy to align the
bar code for instant reading. It is equally suitable for reading
bar codes from the screens of cell phones and PDAs.
Contactless reading is fast and the clear target area makes it
easy for the untrained user to locate the contactless enabled
device.
The BGR125 has a 2 x 16 character display with bright LED
indicators and a user-programmable sounder to provide clear
feedback to the operator.
A wide range of emulations is available for connection to
Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE ® ) or dedicated
systems and, to ensure that the units are future-proof, new
firmware can be remotely downloaded into them.
Housed in an attractive ABS enclosure, the BGR125 is
rugged, very compact and lightweight.
