My attention is called first to the
proclamation of the honorable Mr .
Dan H. Brown, The 2nd, President
of this Congress, requesting all members
of the Christian Congress to
join in appealing to God, for His
blessing and guidance for all mankind,
and for a new birth of freedom
and peace in our beloved America. I
have given this proclamation a careful
study trying to comprehend its
full meaning . If and when these
words are translated into action
through the Congress of Christian
States of America, we can truly say
the new birth of America is here .
For forty (40) years, since 1928,
we have traveled the length and
breadth of America ; from the Atlantic
to the Pacific ; and have used
every available means of communication
to warn Americans, black and
white, against this day.
We have urged 100 per cent cooperation
between black and white
Americans to prevent the destruction
of this nation from within . We
warned Americans both black and
white that integration has destroyed
every nation that tolerated such
folly ; and that America would be no
exception to the rule.
This prediction was fulfilled from
1965 through 1967 when violence
broke out from Maine to Florida ;
and from New York to California
for self-determination .
Ladies and gentlemen, it cannot

be gotten through forced integration
; nor by freedom rides and
marches. Public prayers have not
served the purpose intended and singing
God's praises in the streets have
not solved the problems. This is concrete
proof where integration leads.
We, of the African Universal
Church and Commercial League Corporation,
havewarned White America
that passage of various Civil Rights
Bills will lower "America" into her
already open grave. We warned
Black America the passage could only
be a strong barbiturate to keep the
black man peacefully sleeping while
your so-called "friends" bury your
so-called "White Enemies" and enslave
you and your chldren's children
for generations to come .
The so-called poor people's campaign
was proof that although the
masses of people watch them plunge
into the gulf of destruction, they continue
to march in the same direction .
These endeavors are sinking America,
both white and black . We should
want to know from whence cometh
the money to support these evils since
we are taxed on every hand .
How long can we survive if the
people continue along these lines.
In order to be free all people had
to sponsor a threefold program : the
Black Man is no exception to the
rule.
(1) Onr spiritual development must
meet God's specification

(2) Our standard of living must be
brought up to the level with
those whom we desire to be
equal with
Our economic structure must be
so geared that we become the
controlling factor of our own
destiny. Then and only then
will we be free and equal with
other men.
The black man must pay the same
price, to satisfy his thirst for freedom
.
This is the danger that drives me
to my feet! How can we sleep in a
time like this? We must prevent this
destruction of a nation that came into
being by God's Grace. We cannot
allow white or black to drift along
unthinkingly toward this great gulf
of danger. It is because of this that
"I AM HERE" and now calling upon
the soul and mind of White and
Black America for 100 per cent cooperation,
so together we can save
America for the white, and all who
wish to retain their stay, and build
Africa for all who wish to return.
This work must be done, and it must
be started now.
There are whites as well as blacks
who have not understood the plan of
the A.U.C. & C.L . CORP ., African
Stock Exchange Association Development

to understand . But I must explain
our objective for the good of the
world and humanity .
