4.8 Detailed example<br />

For a better illustration <strong>of</strong> the functionality <strong>of</strong> the HEAT, it is important to give<br />

a first example <strong>of</strong> its working scope. The following example will show how a<br />

tutorial is designed, built and distributed.<br />

During the startup procedure <strong>of</strong> the HEAT the author <strong>of</strong> the educational material<br />

is asked in a dialogue if he wants to enter the EHP-information <strong>of</strong> the EM (figure<br />

2). However, this is not compulsory for the author. He can enter the information<br />

later or change the entered information. The EHP-information <strong>of</strong> the EM can be<br />

inherited for every TLS and EHP the author creates in the EM.<br />

Figure 3 shows the EHP-information <strong>of</strong> the new EM. The different elements <strong>of</strong><br />

this dialogue box represent the educational information <strong>of</strong> the EM and can be<br />

modified by the author.<br />

Figure 4 shows the HEAT after the initial startup phase. The author has the fol-<br />

lowing options:<br />
