3.5. EnergyPlus Data Options EnergyPlus is an hourly/daily/monthly/annual energy simulation engine which employs a simultaneous load/system/plant simulation methodology (Pan, et al. 2009). Comfort data is including inside air, the radiant and comfort temperatures, relative humidity, and Fanger PMV (Fanger Predicted Mean Vote). Internal operative temperature mean of the internal air and radiant temperature. Simulations are performed with EnergyPlus to obtain Fanger PMV value to have an idea about the total comfort every floors of ADM building for all year. PMV value is a statistical index regarding comfort level of the selected space and ASHRAE 55 (2004) classify comfort as given in Table 3.3. Table 3.3.
