Although most of the specifics of our
program will'~be developed at those cone
ferences, our goals revolve around the
complete revamping of the "Negro" co? .lego
. This includes a purge of the:
brainwashing faotories navy called liby"aries,
where students read second--hand
Shakespeare and learn little or nothing
of merit and rehevanco to the Black
Man's predicam©nt . Moreover, the must:
Yiave a complete overhauling of the present
curricula and the building of courses
of study more pertinent to the prcsent
and future demands of the Black
struggle in America and the world . Swahili,
for example, a major African long-~
ua ge, should be compulsory paw . At the
same time, it is nee©ssary to launch a
vigorous campaign to change the names of
Black universities to commemorate the
courage and deeds of Black thinkers and
theorists paw dead rather than white imperialists
and their Black Toms . A move
is elready underway at Lincoln University
(Pa .) to switch the name to Fredrick
