empty <strong>boxes</strong>. Trigger decrease the initial peak and mean load values of empty <strong>boxes</strong> as<br />

shown in Figure 6.8. The initial peak and mean load values decrease from 93 kN and<br />

38 kN (at 50% deformation) in <strong>boxes</strong> without trigger to 70 kN and 31 kN in <strong>boxes</strong> with<br />

trigger (Figure 6.8). It is also noted in Figure 6.8 that trigger induces a more uniform<br />

deformation behavior in empty box, by lowering the differences between peak and<br />

subsequent peak load values in load-displacement curve.<br />
