From the hearts of Eagles for 66 years! - Fraternal Order of Eagles

Since 2008, the Fraternal Order of Eagles has reached out to military men
and women across the world to donate goods through the ‘Operation
Eagle’ program. The program is designed to show the Eagles’ appreciation for
members or the children of Eagle members who are currently serving in the
military by sending items needed by their units.
This year, the program becomes an annual Eagle event, moving away from
the quarterly donation system of the past. This change allows us to focus our
efforts and provide aid and assistance to our troops in the most efficient
manner possible.
Please do not ship any donations now. The collection period for donations
for the 2010 Operation Eagle program begins September 1 and runs through
the end of the month. All donations to be shipped to the Operation Eagle
winning nominees must be sent in during this period.
As the process continues, a list of suggested items will be posted on
www.foe.com. We ask that you visit the site before sending in any goods to
ensure that the supplies enclosed in your packages are goods acceptable for
being shipped overseas. Any restrictions on items will be posted online.
Packages will be shipped to winners in time for the Christmas holiday. We
encourage all of you to participate and help those who protect our freedoms.

home in September. Sgt. Kell
and his wife, Sgt. Kelli Kell,
live in Sumter, South Carolina,
and are expecting their
first child on November 12.
Jeremy is the son of Debbie
and Tony Smith, also members
of Aerie/Auxiliary 3655.
Eagles to Hold Primary Sponsorship
for August 20 Bristol Race
Eagles will fly once again on Friday, August 20 – only this time they’ll be
spreading their wings across the track at Bristol Motor Speedway in
Bristol, Tennessee.
The Fraternal Order of Eagles will be the primary sponsor of one of the
Braun Racing Nationwide Series Toyotas at the Food City 250. The car will
feature an exclusive FOE design and allows the Eagles to spread their word
to the world through the primetime Nationwide Series event.
Braun Racing’s stable of drivers includes Jason Leffler, Brian Scott, Reed
Sorenson, Kasey Kahne and David Reutimann. Catch the race on ESPN at
7:30 p.m.
