Foreword The International Franchise Association (IFA) is the world’s premier association dedicated to protecting, enhancing and promoting franchising. The IFA achieves its mission largely through outstanding support of its members. Many individuals of member companies of the association contribute countless hours to the advancement of the IFA and its mission. As members who are involved in numerous IFA committees, task forces and forums we wanted to create a handbook detailing the International Franchise Association, its staff, its events, its volunteer and sponsorship opportunities, and the inner-workings of this large and powerful association. There are many ways to get involved and make the most of your membership with the IFA. We hope you find this handbook to be beneficial in gaining the most from your relationship with the IFA.
