Registrations are valid with full<br />
payment. Register up to three days<br />
before class by phone, walk-in or<br />
mail (not by voice mail). Cash (not<br />

and American Express are accepted.<br />
Registration confirmations<br />
are issued via email upon request.<br />
Class fees cannot be prorated.<br />

second class. A 50% charge will<br />
be withheld for cancellations made<br />

Pre-College Portfolio<br />
Development program is a<br />
three-year subsidized program<br />
designed to streng<strong>the</strong>n gifted high<br />
school freshmen’s visual art skills<br />
for college entrance. Applications<br />
are due December 14, 2012; call<br />
for details. This program has been<br />
made possible by <strong>the</strong> James A.<br />
Welch Foundation.<br />
Student <strong>Art</strong>work not picked up<br />
within two weeks <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
session will be discarded.<br />
art school policies are available in<br />
<strong>the</strong> <strong>Art</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice upon request.<br />

rebecca Andrus has a BS<br />
in Fine <strong>Art</strong>s from Illinois State<br />
University and is pursuing her<br />
masters in Early Childhood<br />
Education at <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong><br />
Michigan-<strong>Flint</strong>. She has been<br />
an artist/educator for more<br />
than 25 years.<br />
Michele Gunn taught art at<br />
Durant-Tuuri-Mott Elementary<br />
<strong>School</strong>. She specializes<br />
in early child-hood and<br />
youth ceramic handbuilding<br />
techniques.<br />
Karyn Konkel holds a BFA in<br />
ceramics and drawing from<br />
Sienna Heights University.<br />
She has taught at <strong>the</strong><br />
Creative <strong>Art</strong>s Montessori,<br />
Ann Arbor <strong>Art</strong> Center, and<br />
was an assistant moldmaker<br />

rebekah Mikkelson<br />

Water Color Society. He is<br />

Made Easy and has lectured<br />
on color <strong>the</strong>ory at many<br />
leading U.S. <strong>Art</strong> <strong>School</strong>s.<br />
alla Dubrovich has an MFA<br />
and BFA from <strong>the</strong> Moscow<br />
pedagogical University in<br />
Moscow, Russia. She is a<br />
freelance illustrator and also<br />
teaches at Mott Community<br />
College and <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong><br />
Michigan-<strong>Flint</strong>.<br />
alice Foster-stocum has<br />
taught at <strong>the</strong> <strong>FIA</strong> since 1982.<br />
She earned a degree at<br />
Michigan State University<br />
and studied under several<br />
renowned fiber artists. She<br />
has exhibited her work at<br />

Jeff hageman has a BFA<br />

specializes in teapots and<br />

design. She specializes in<br />
botanical watercolors and art<br />
quilts and has exhibited her<br />
