InterLab System - User Manual Nero Burning ROM or NexoExpress from Ahead Software installed. When you are installing Nero it also installs NeroApi libraries, which are needed for correct working of ilsCDMaker. ilsCDMaker needs at least 6.0 version of NeroApi. Work with ilsCDMaker In this chapter you will become familiar with using ilsCDMaker, especially: Possible error announcements Description of each ilsCDMaker window How to burn the CD or DVD Configuration of ilsCDMaker 4.3.1. Start-up errors During initialization the following errors may occur: Directory initialization failed InterLab System - User Manual When the program starts it checks the directory structure and attempts to create any missing element. If, for any reason, e.g. a folder cannot be created the program stops and displays this message. This error may occur due to operating system failures. Cannot open or create configuration file If configuration file does not exist the program tries to create one with default values. This error indicates that the configuration file doesn‟t exist or cannot be created. This error may occur when you do not have „write‟ rights in the ilsCDMaker directory Cannot load NeroAPI.dll To correct operation ilsCDMaker needs to know that Nero Burning ROM or Nero Express from Ahead Software has been installed. Program will not function without Nero. If loading of NeroApi has failed it means that it is not installed or installation is not valid. Cannot initialize NeroApi This message indicates that NeroApi library initialization has failed. Possible reasons: ➢ Invalid arguments – probably incompatible version of NeroApi ➢ Invalid Nero serial number ➢ Nero demo version expired ➢ NeroApi already initialized (other program using NeroApi) ➢ NeroApi – cannot Lock (other program using NeroApi library) 95
