Then he said unto the messenger, "Make known<br />

"unto <strong>Alexander</strong> that which thou hast seen me Aristotle's<br />

"doing unto these trees and plants, for just as"''^'<br />

"[all] diseases are' not the same, even so the<br />

"means for healing every sickness are not the<br />

"same; everything which I have told thee, [go]<br />

"tell unto <strong>Alexander</strong>:" so the messenger went<br />

[p. 215] to <strong>Alexander</strong> and told him everything<br />

which had taken place and which he had seen.<br />

Then <strong>Alexander</strong> understood, and he quickly removed<br />

the governors of Babylon, and appointed<br />

others from his army in their places; and this<br />
