Alexander, and they were smitten with mighty
fear and trembling when they looked upon them;
and they each said within themselves, "Behold, he
"regardeth us in wrath." Now when the son of
Candace saw this, a great fear came into his heart,
and he died in his skin, and he was unable to
utter one word, for he thought within himself that
the king had ordered him to be put to death.
