And' <strong>Alexander</strong> heard that Porus, the king of<br />

India, had come to the aid^ of Darius, the king of<br />

Persia, but when Porus heard that Darius was slain<br />

he returned to his country together with his troops.<br />

And <strong>Alexander</strong> entreated God Almighty to help <strong>Alexander</strong><br />

him against Porus, the king of India,<br />
