EL PRIMER AUTOMÓVIL SUBMARINO DEL MUNDO<br />
Si puedes soñarlo, puedes hacerlo, decía Walt Disney y el<br />
Squba, el primer automóvil submarino del mundo. Diseñado<br />
para poder sumergirse hasta 10 metros para lograrlo cuenta<br />
con 3 motores: uno para su uso en la carretera y los otros 2<br />
para su uso bajo el agua. El auto tiene dos plazas y una<br />
cabina abierta, por lo que sus dos ocupantes deberán utilizar<br />
tanques de oxígeno y trajes de buceo una vez sumergidos. El<br />
diseño de la cabina es abierto para que los pasajeros puedan<br />
salir rápidamente del vehículo en caso de una emergencia.<br />
La ventaja del vehículo descapotable es que evita la fuerte<br />
presión que ejercería el agua sobre los cristales del<br />
automóvil cerrado. La tapicería del vehículo es de un material<br />
resistente al agua., además por si se desea sumergir al<br />
sQuba en el mar, todo su interior soporta la salinidad de<br />
agua marina sin echarse a perder. Sus fabricantes destacan<br />
especialmente que es un modelo "ecológico", ya que sus tres<br />
motores usan energía eléctrica y los lubricantes usados son<br />
biodegradables.<br />

the silver screen “sQuba” is the first car that can actually ‘fly’<br />
under water. Zumikon - “Dive it again, James!” If the situation<br />
gets too hot for the secret agent he’ll go underground - or<br />
under water. So demonstrated impressively by Roger Moore in<br />
‘The Spy Who Loved Me” in 1977 when he dove below the<br />
waves in a sleek vehicle that moments before seemed to be an<br />
ordinary car. The only problem: The scene never really took<br />
place; it was an animation.<br />
This extraordinary Concept Car created by the famous Swiss<br />
Rinspeed Design Company could have come straight out of a<br />
James Bond film. Its ability not just to drive along the road –<br />
and that on autopilot at the press of a button – but also to<br />
continue along its route through water, diving to depths of ten<br />
meters, breaks the bounds of the imagination of many people<br />
when they think of a car. Its unique bodywork, designed to echo<br />
that of the Lotus Elise cult sports car, is being complemented<br />
by a whole new world of colorful experience.<br />
