• Lean-to roofs should be of equal or lower pitch than the main roof<br />

Material Finishes • Ensure buildings have a consistent palette of materials in keeping with the existing rural character of the area.<br />

• Materials to consider include stone, brick, render, slate and timber<br />

• High quality boundary materials such as local traditional dry stone/lime mortared walls or low bank and hedging must be used<br />

throughout the scheme<br />

• Concrete block walls and brick walls are not acceptable<br />
