1.28 CHECK AREA<br />
At the end of the race, or the final part of a race that has been<br />
interrupted, all the classified motorcycles must be removed to<br />
a check area pending inspection by the Technical Stewards or<br />
potential protests. Motorcycles will normally be released from the<br />
check area 30 minutes after the finish of the race.<br />
1.29 CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS AND CLASSIFICATION<br />
1.29.1 Riders and Constructors will compete for the <strong>FIM</strong> <strong>Road</strong> <strong>Racing</strong> <strong>World</strong><br />
Championship <strong>Superbike</strong> or <strong>Supersport</strong> or for the <strong>FIM</strong> Superstock<br />
Cup.<br />
1.29.2 For riders, the points will be those gained in each race.<br />
1.29.3 For Constructors, only the highest placed motorcycle of a Constructor<br />
will gain points, according to the position in the race.<br />
1.29.4 For each race, Championship points will be awarded on the following<br />
scale:<br />
1st 25 points<br />
2nd 20 points<br />
3rd 16 points<br />
4th 13 points<br />
5th 11 points<br />
6th 10 points<br />
7th 9 points<br />
8th 8 points<br />
9th 7 points<br />
10th 6 points<br />
11th 5 points<br />
12th 4 points<br />
13th 3 points<br />
14th 2 points<br />
15th 1 point<br />
1.29.5 All races will count for the <strong>FIM</strong> <strong>Road</strong> <strong>Racing</strong> <strong>World</strong> Championship<br />
<strong>Superbike</strong> or <strong>Supersport</strong> or for the <strong>FIM</strong> Superstock Cup classification.<br />
