1.5 INTERNATIONAL JURY
1.5.1 The management of the event will be carried out by the International
Jury which will comprise the following delegates:
The President appointed by the FIM - who will chair the meetings
Two Jury Members appointed by the FIM
The Delegate appointed by IMS
The Race Director
The Technical Director
The Medical Director
The Clerk of the Course
The FIM Safety Officer
1.5.2 At any time the duties of the members of the International Jury are:
a - To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the event.
b - To make recommendations to the Race Direction
concerning any matter that is in contradiction to the
Regulations.
c - To report to the Race Direction any infringements of the
Regulations.
1.5.3 The International Jury will meet at any time required during the
event, but at least:
a - Prior to the first practice session.
b - At the end of each practice day.
c - At the end of the event.
1.5.4 The quorum for a meeting of the International Jury is three persons.
1.5.5 All the Members have one vote. Decisions are based on a simple
majority. In the case of a tie, then the President will exercise a
casting vote.
