During the final inspection lap, the yellow flag must<br />

be waved at each flag marshal post together with the<br />

display of other flags and equipment requested by the<br />

FIM Safety Officer.<br />

c - Taking decisions to ensure the smooth and efficient<br />

running of the event.<br />

d - Ensuring that the event is run within the Regulations.<br />

e - Notification of protests to the Race Direction.<br />

f - Immediate approval and signature with time of<br />

provisional results (practices, Superpoles, warm-ups,<br />

starting grids and races) and presentation of reports to<br />

the International Jury.<br />

3) Secretaries<br />

Responsible for:<br />

a - During the event effecting communications between the<br />

various officials.<br />

b - Providing secretarial support for the International Jury,<br />

the Race Direction and the FIM Stewards.<br />

4) Other Officials Stewards, Technical Stewards, Security<br />

Personnel, Medical Staff etc., as required for the efficient<br />

running of the event.<br />

1.4.3 The Race Direction<br />

All communications between the individual Event Officials<br />

must be made via the relevant Permanent Officials.<br />

The Race Direction shall be appointed for the Championship by the<br />

Permanent Bureau.<br />

1.4.4 The FIM Stewards<br />

The FIM Stewards shall be appointed for each event by the FIM.<br />
