C-12 FileMaker Pro User’s Guide Repeating functions ? Use repeating functions with repeating fields. Syntax Definition Extend (nonrepeating field) Allows the value of non-repeating field to be used in a calculation involving repeating fields. (See the following example.) GetRepetition (repeating field, number) Returns the contents of the repetition number of repeating field Last (repeating field) Returns the last valid, nonblank value in repeating field This example shows how the Extend function ensures accurate results when used in calculations involving nonrepeating fields.
