LET’S GET BETTY TO RUMBLE: UND will<br />

enter Saturday’s game against Minnesota<br />

Duluth with a 64-6 (.914) all-time record<br />

at the Betty Engelstad <strong>Sioux</strong> Center, which<br />

opened its doors prior to the 2004-05 season.<br />

300: A win on Saturday in UND’s final<br />

<strong>North</strong> Central Conference game would<br />

give head coach Gene Roebuck his 300th<br />

career home court victory at UND.<br />

SENIOR SENDOFF: Five seniors will play in<br />

their final regular season game in a <strong>Sioux</strong><br />

uniform on Saturday.<br />

The group has gone 115-13 (.898) en route<br />

to three NCC regular season championships,<br />

three NCC play<strong>of</strong>f titles and a<br />

berth in the 2006-07 Elite Eight.<br />

G Karla Beck (Munich, N.D.) has<br />

appeared in 123 games – which is tied for<br />

10th all-time at UND – and ranks eighth<br />

on the school’s all-time steals list (170)<br />

and ninth in career free throw percentage<br />

(.779). In 26 games this season, Beck is<br />

averaging 7.3 points and 4.5 assists per<br />

game, including an NCC-leading 5.45<br />

assists per game during league play.<br />

G Anna Leigh Brady (New Town, N.D.)<br />

has appeared in 21 games in her two seasons<br />

since coming to UND from Lake<br />

Region (N.D.) State College. She was a<br />

member <strong>of</strong> UND’s Elite Eight entry last<br />

season and has made better than 46 percent<br />

<strong>of</strong> her career three-point attempts.<br />

C Ashley Langen (Kennedy, Minn.)<br />

recently became just the second player in<br />

school history to score 2,000 career points<br />

and also ranks second all-time in scoring,<br />

field goals made and free throw percentage.<br />

A three-time All-NCC selection, this<br />

season Langen leads the NCC in rebounding<br />

(10.8 rpg) and field goal percentage<br />

(.595) while ranking third in scoring (16.5<br />

ppg).<br />

C Val Sannes (Wahpeton, N.D.) has<br />

appeared in 82 career games and was<br />

recently named to the Academic All-NCC<br />

Langen (Kennedy, Minn.) will play in her<br />

126th career game on Saturday, which will<br />

tie her with Jamie Pudenz (1996-00) for<br />

sixth on UND’s all-time games played list.<br />

Meanwhile, teammate Karla Beck (Sr.,<br />

Munich, N.D.) will play in career game<br />

No. 124, which will tie her with Tiffany<br />

Pudenz (1994-98) for ninth all-time.<br />

TRANSITION GAME: The <strong>2007</strong>-<strong>08</strong> season<br />

will be UND’s last both at the Division II<br />

level and as members <strong>of</strong> the <strong>North</strong> Central<br />

Conference. The <strong>Sioux</strong> are making the<br />

transition to the Division I level after this<br />

season.<br />

UND has won three Division II national<br />

championships (1999, 1998, 1997) in<br />

women’s basketball and has claimed 11<br />

NCC titles, including the last three in a<br />
