A panel <strong>of</strong> former UND letterwinners, select UND<br />
Athletics staff and coaches have selected “All-C<strong>en</strong>tury”<br />
and “Pioneer” Teams, compiled in honor <strong>of</strong> the m<strong>en</strong>’s<br />
b<strong>asketball</strong> program’s “100 years <strong>of</strong> b<strong>asketball</strong>”<br />
celebration. The All-C<strong>en</strong>tury Team consists <strong>of</strong> 20 players<br />
with the Pioneer Team being comprised <strong>of</strong> six individuals<br />
that helped formulate UND b<strong>asketball</strong> in the decades<br />
prior to 1940.<br />
UND Alumni Association, together with UND Athletics<br />
will be hosting b<strong>asketball</strong> alumni during the 100 Years <strong>of</strong><br />
UND B<strong>asketball</strong> celebration January 20-22, 2005. There<br />
will be a banquet celebrating 100 years <strong>of</strong> b<strong>asketball</strong> on<br />
Saturday, Jan. 21 in the Betty Engelstad S<strong>ioux</strong> C<strong>en</strong>ter.<br />
Also announced were UND’s “All-Decade Teams”. 76<br />
players were honored on the All-Decade teams.<br />
