SENIORS<br />
2008: Led the Sioux with four wins, six complete games<br />
and a 4.24 ERA in 12 appearances … Named to the honorable<br />
mention All-NCC team ... Also posted a team-high 59<br />
strikeouts in 63.2 innings <strong>of</strong> work … His 59 punchouts were<br />
the ninth-most in a single season by a Sioux pitcher …<br />
Ranked second on the team with eight starts from the<br />
mound … Went the distance, fanning a career-high 17 batters<br />
during an 11-1 victory (seven-inning game) over<br />
Minnesota, Crookston on March 30 … Secured the final win<br />
<strong>of</strong> UND’s Division II era with a complete-game victory over<br />
Augustana on May 9 in the NCC Tournament … In that outing<br />
vs. the Vikings, surrendered only one earned run on<br />
five hits and struck out seven.<br />
2007: Appeared in 10 games on the mound for the<br />
Fighting Sioux, starting eight <strong>of</strong> those games ... Led the<br />
Fighting Sioux pitching <strong>staff</strong> in strikeouts (38) and opponent<br />
batting average (.282) ... Tied for the team-lead in<br />
wins (four) ... Ranked third on the team in innings pitched<br />
(48.2), earned run average (5.36) and complete games<br />
(three) ... Ranked second on the team in hit batters (eight)<br />
... Allowed only 55 hits in 48.2 innings pitched ... In his first<br />
appearance <strong>of</strong> the 2007 season, threw a nine-inning complete<br />
game against the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Charleston, striking<br />
out seven and walking two in the victory ... The victory was<br />
his first victory in a Fighting Sioux uniform ... Was named<br />
the NCC Pitcher <strong>of</strong> the Week following his performance<br />
against Nebraska-Omaha ... Earned the complete game<br />
victory while striking out eight and walking two and allowed<br />
only five hits and no earned runs.<br />
