Dear Basketball Fans,
We are very honored to present you the latest online brochure dedicated to outdoor equipment approved by
the FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre.
With our pioneer 3x3 initiative, which fosters the development of myriad of tournaments around the world,
we strongly reinforce our business in the outdoor world. Either played on permanent or temporary venues,
3x3 basketball provides a platform for equipment manufacturers to innovate and expand their offer. The
transportation, movability and resistance of equipment along with their compliance with outdoor conditions
is key to prepare and deliver successful outdoor events.
We are pleased to have secured official partnerships to achieve that goal and we look forward to upcoming
opportunities.
The equipment is divided into several categories such as backstop units, courts, scoreboards and lighting.
We hope that this guide will provide assistance and support to event organizers, as well as national
federations, clubs, municipalities and governments that are involved in the development of basketball within
their countries.
Outdoor courts are the places where young players have their first contact with basketball and this reality
remains no matter where these courts are located in the world.
We believe that an increase in the number of outdoor premises, and moreover with quality and safe equipment,
can only raise the development of future champions and increase the pleasure of playing basketball.

hOOPmASTEr LT - POrTABLE BASkETBALL gOAL
FrAmE
The perimeter of the base shall be constructed of 2” x 3” (5.08 cm
x 7.62 cm) heavy wall tubing to form a single heavy duty unitized
frame. The vertical mast and horizontal extension shall be formed
from 3” (7.62 cm) square heavy wall tubing with 2” x 3” (5.08 cm
x 7.62 cm) heavy wall tubular steel braces. The main boom shall
be formed from 3” x 5” (7.62 cm x 12.7 cm) heavy wall tubing. The
backboard shall be supported by a direct mounting through the
goal to the main boom and a 1.5” (3.81 cm) formed tube brace to the
upper corners of the board.
BALLAST
Each unit shall have a minimum ballast weight of 600 lbs. (272 kg),
permanently built into the rear of the unit. Total unit weight including
ballast is 1700 lbs (771 kg).
WhEELS
Each unit shall be transported four 5” (12.7 cm) diameter swivel
casters with non-marking polyurethane treads. The wheels shall
be supported on steel roller bearings and shall have grease fittings
for internal lubrication.

the unit shall be 60 pounds (27 kg) applied by one person at the handle provided on the rear upright. A telescoping

cm x 10.16 cm x 0.47 cm) with 1.5” x 1.5” x ¼” (3.81 cm x 3.81 cm x 3.18 cm) tubular steel braces. The backboard
shall be supported by a direct mounting through the goal to the main boom and a 1.5” (3.81 cm) formed tube brace
to the upper corners of the board.
BALLAST
Each unit shall have a minimum ballast weight of 900 lbs. (408 kg), permanently built into the rear of the unit. Total
unit weight including ballast is 2300 lbs (1043 kg).

WhEELS
Each unit shall be transported two 8” (15.24 cm) diameter caster wheels
and two 6” (20.32 cm) diameter swivel casters
with non-marking polyurethane treads. The rear wheels have a load rating
of 1800 lbs. (816 kg) each and the front casters have a rating of 900 lbs. (408
kg) each. The wheels shall be supported on steel roller bearings and shall
have grease fittings for internal lubrication.
FiNiSh
Each unit shall be finished in a white powder coat enamel finish. Custom
colors are available upon request.

CErTiFiCATiONS
Unit meets all requirements of the NCAA and NFHS. Model 9408 is approved
by FIBA for international Level 3 competition. Certificate of Approval

The base frame shall be constructed of 1.5” x 2.5” (3.81 cm x 6.35 cm) heavy
wall tubing to form a single heavy duty unitized frame. The front mast shall
also be constructed of 1.5” x 2.5” (3.81 cm x 6.35 cm) heavy wall tubing and
connected to the base via integral heavy duty welded hinges. The rear folding
brace assembly shall be constructed of 1.5” (3.81 cm) heavy wall square
tubing and connected to the base frame and vertical mast via integral heavy
duty welded hinges. The backboard extension assembly shall be constructed
of 1.5” (3.81 cm) heavy wall square tubing.
BALLAST
Each requires a minimum of 250 lbs (113.4 kg) ballast (NOT Furnished).
WhEELS
The upper end of the front mast support shall be equipped with two 3” (7.62
cm) diameter casters for transport when the unit is folded into the storage
position.
FiNiSh
Each unit shall be finished in a black powder coat enamel finish.

ELiTE BACkSTOP uNiT
Elite Backstop Unit
Unit of portable outdoor backstops with manual
elevation and transport without the need to use any
additional device. Its special design allows for two
different positions: position for playing basketball
and folded position for storage and transport.
Designed with the latest CAD technologies and fine
element calculation programs to absorb the impacts
and vibrations produced by playing basketball, it is
manufactured in steel structural tube.
It main structures consists of a support arm, two
uprights and a base, all protected against impacts
in the front part.
The base houses a total of 4 retracting wheels and
a system of polyurethane supports, allowing the
basket to stand perfectly firmly on the floor in the
playing position and also to make it quick and easy
to move the folded basket around.
Some additional counterweights can be fitted to
guarantee maximum stability of the basketball
unit. These counterweights can be removed to
easily move the basketball unit when it’s not being
use for playing. However, the placement of these
counterweights does NOT EXEMPT from the need
to use the floor anchorages when the unit is located
to play.
The tilting rim complies with FIBA requirements to
avoid any possibility of player injury.
The glass basketball backboard unit consists of the
backboard, the metal frame and the padding.

Grassroot Backstop Unit
Unit of portable and foldable backstop unit designed for recreational basketball game.
It can be used in three different positions:
• Rim height at 3,05 m (basketball).
• Rim height at 2,60 m (minibasketball).
• Folded for transport.
The main components of the backstop unit are the following:
• Main steel upright painted in black. In its rear part it has a knot fixing the position (rim height at 3,05 m or 2,60
m).
• Upright padding in foam covered in PVC canvas, with rear velcro straps for fixing.
• Reinforced fiberglass polyester backboard (maximum width 1.200 mm) with a rear mechanism to fold it
backwards by mean of a bolt.
• Tilting rim and net.
• Number indicator of the court.
• Steel painted base including:
• 4 stability counterweights (42 kgs each) with handles for easy transport.
• 2 rubber wheels in the back part of the base and one revolving wheel in the front part.
• 4 supports, located in each corner of the base. The supports are manually operated by mean of a crank. Once
stretched, all the unit weight is distributed among the supports and the wheels remain up.
• Bolt and mechanism to fold the upright backwards, located between the base and the post.

Our company was founded in 1983 starting with the manufacture
of parts and tooling for the automotive industry. In 1990 we
moved to the production of sports equipment and then
entered into cooperation with the U.S. company Sure Shot, Inc.
As a result, the company was selected as the basketball equipment

S05104 Easyplay College portable basketball backstop
to be used as an outdoor solution. Galvanized steel
tubing structure with short projection of just 125 cm.
Backstop’s movement on the floor is done by using three
rubber wheels incorporated in the system itself, raising
and lowering following movement of structure. Space
for counterweight (included) on back side of the base.

Portable electronic scoreboard for indoor or outdoor
competition made up of one module in aluminium
structure with a handle on top for easy transport (700
mm x 600 mm). This scoreboard provides clear and
complete information about the main parameters of
the 3x3 game: score and game time.
The main components (digits and outer structure) are
manufactured for outdoor use:
• Outdoor digits are made of highest luminous
yellow SMD leds with a viewing angle of
120º and a great distance visibility. The digits
are protected by an anti-glare transparent
polycarbonate sheet, which is highly resistant to
knocks and has excellent strength with respect
to ultraviolet radiations.
• All the outer structure fastenings are sealed with
a neoprene gasket, which make the whole unit

If the basketball outdoor facilities are to be employed at evening and night-times; it may be advisable to foresee
a floodlighting system with lighting towers possibly with light directed towards the free throws midline; this will
avoid glare problems to players throwing from the sidelines.
Appropriate care should be taken to distribute lighting as uniformly as possible on the playing court; lighting
capacity should actually be adjustable according to requirements and the different competitions being hosted.
For basketball courts, an average illuminance of 100 lux and uniformity (min/average) > 0.5 is required for
training and recreational, whereas for local competitions, an average illuminance of 200 lux and uniformity
(min/average) > 0.6 is required.
For 3X3 courts, an average illuminance of 50 lux and uniformity (min/average) > 0.5 is required for training and
recreational, whereas for local competitions, an average illuminance of more than 75 lux and uniformity (min/
average) > 0.5 is required.
