<strong>FHSAA</strong> Board of Directors<br />
The <strong>FHSAA</strong> Board of Directors is the body responsible for adopting guidelines, regulations, policies and<br />
procedures for the operation of the <strong>Association</strong> and its sanctioned sports programs; and is the final<br />
court of appeal within the <strong>Association</strong> due-process system. The Board of Directors consists of 16 individuals<br />
– eight member school representatives; two district school superintendents; two district school<br />
board members; three citizens-at-large appointed by the <strong>Florida</strong> Commissioner of Education; and the<br />
<strong>Florida</strong> Commissioner of Education or his/her designee from the Department of Education administrative<br />
staff. The Board of Directors meets five times annually.<br />
