The disk provides up-to-date information<br />
and also gathers in one<br />
place many of the member agencies’<br />
training modules, selected<br />
agency documents, and industry<br />
publications. Examiners can sort<br />
this information by agency, by<br />
subtopic, and by date. The source<br />
of each document is clearly<br />
indicated.<br />
The CD-ROM is open-ended, and<br />
additions can be made as needed.<br />
The content on the CD-ROM is easily<br />
transportable for Internet access.<br />
When the web portion becomes<br />
operable, updates will be available<br />
without issuing a new CD. Provision<br />
has been made in the 2000<br />
Examiner Education budget for<br />
development of web-connected<br />
CD-ROMs on other topics.<br />
One significant new course, Cash<br />
Flow Construction and Analysis<br />
from Federal Tax Returns, was<br />
added to the curriculum. This<br />
course gives examiners powerful<br />
aids in evaluating the basis of loans.<br />
The Council continues to provide<br />
interactive videoteleconferences<br />
each year. These have provided<br />
leading-edge information on<br />
cyber–banking. During <strong>1999</strong>,<br />
teleconference capability was<br />
expanded to four of the five member<br />
agencies.<br />

Courses and Conferences<br />
The Council offers a wide variety of<br />
courses and conferences, which are<br />
aimed primarily at examiners who<br />
have completed the commissioning<br />
process within their agencies. However,<br />
some noncommissioned exam-<br />
