The members of the SLC<br />
serve as an important conduit to<br />
their state colleagues and represent<br />
state supervisory interests<br />
before the Council.<br />
The SLC is represented on the<br />
Council’s task forces and working<br />
groups by state supervisors<br />
from around the country. The<br />
CSBS provides staff support to the<br />
SLC representatives and serves as<br />
the primary liaison to the Federal<br />

Financial Institutions Examination<br />
Council (FFIEC) staff for all<br />
administrative matters.<br />
In connection with its role on the<br />
Council, the SLC meets in person<br />
before each Council meeting<br />
to review the agenda and discuss<br />
topics of interest which may come<br />
before the Council. The SLC welcomes<br />
leadership and policymakers<br />
from the FFIEC member agencies<br />
to meet with them during<br />
these briefings to engage in informal<br />
dialogue. Those who participated<br />
this year included Thomas<br />

Office of the Comptroller<br />
of the Currency; Richard Cordray,<br />
Director, Consumer Financial Protection<br />
Bureau (CFPB); Steven<br />
Antonakes, Associate Director,<br />

Judith Dupre, Executive Secretary,<br />
FFIEC.
