Explanation. The Council is<br />
required to approve the selection<br />
of the Appraisal Subcommittee<br />
Chair, who serves a two-year<br />

of six task force chairs.<br />
Explanation. The chairs for all six<br />
standing task forces are approved<br />
annually and are drawn from management<br />
and staff of the five federal<br />
member agencies and representatives<br />
of the State Liaison<br />
Committee (SLC).<br />
March 8, <strong>2012</strong><br />
Action. Approved the 2011 annual<br />
report of the Council to the<br />
Congress.<br />
Explanation. The legislation establishing<br />
the Council requires that,<br />
not later than April l of each year,<br />
the Council publish an annual<br />
report covering its activities during<br />
the preceding year.<br />
March 19, <strong>2012</strong><br />
Action. Approved re-appointment<br />
of SLC member, David Cotney,<br />
Massachusetts Division of Banks<br />
Commissioner.<br />
Explanation. The Council appoints<br />
two of the SLC members. The<br />
remaining three members are designated<br />
by the Conference of State<br />
Banking Supervisors, the American<br />
Council of State Savings Supervi-<br />
sors, and the National Association<br />
of State Credit Union Supervisors.<br />
October 31, <strong>2012</strong><br />
Action. Approved CDR Contract<br />
Re-Compete Process, naming the<br />
FDIC to serve as the procurement<br />
agent.<br />
Explanation. The current CDR contract<br />
for system support to process<br />
the Consolidated <strong>Report</strong>s<br />
of Condition and Income (Call<br />
<strong>Report</strong>) and the UBPR will expire<br />
in November 2013. An interagency<br />
team identified and analyzed<br />
alternatives for continuing system<br />
support beyond November 2013,<br />
and a case recommending one of<br />
the alternatives was presented to<br />
the Council for consideration.<br />
December 3, <strong>2012</strong><br />
Action. Approved the 2013 Council<br />
budget.<br />
Explanation. The Council is<br />
required to approve the annual<br />
budget that funds the Council's<br />
staff, programs, and activities.
