Detects differences in voltage between any two
points of an installation indicated by LED’s. It also
enables assessment of the order of magnitude
of the residual voltage induced by nearby live lines or circuits, and thus
differentiates it from the one provided directly from a high voltage source. Main
features are wide range of voltages 2kV to 36kV, high luminosity, compact:
620mm with probes dismounted, high dielectric quality insulating material. Two
1.25m elements with removable probes, connected via a high-insulation lead,
maximum use distance: 2.25m (with probe extenders). Operation testing: with
a checking device.

Tester may be used, on 3ph circuits, to check the
presence & sequence of the phases. Important
on motor circuits as a phase reversal will cause a
motors direction to reverse. Tester will give visual
indication of loss of phase or an incorrect sequence.
Tester is supplied in 2 forms - Probe style, the
connection to the tester is via 3 insulated cables to
3 fused test probes, 1 with an insulated crocodile
clip. Plug style, a 16A, 4 pin, 3ph & earth, BS4343
plug is fitted to the tester. Use as a socket tester prior to plugging in 3ph
equipment. Testers supplied in a plastic wallet, with full instructions. Caution,
the unit should be checked for correct operation using a known voltage before
use.

appliances and leads (leakage current testing of
appliances, which requires power to “switch” them on,
pass/fail indication. Unique 3 button operation. Class I,

senses an IEC or extension lead then performs a
polarity test. Detects that the appliance under test is
switched “On”. Earth bond test is set at 10A and is capable
of fusing a poor earth.
