Record number of
students take MME at
Digital Learning Center
The Digital Learning Center (DLC)
successfully tested 266 students for the
ACT/MME this week. This is the most
alternative students who have ever been
MME-tested at once.
The DLC started last fall and is an
alternative high school solution for
students aged 15-19 who need their
high school diploma and can complete
much or all of their work online. The DLC
graduated its first student in December.
The staff continues to do a fabulous
job engaging, retaining and setting high
expectations for our students.
Focus Groups for Strategic Plan
This year, the Ferndale Schools began a comprehensive process to examine
every aspect of our school district and develop a new, comprehensive Strategic Plan.
Participating in a focus group may be one of the most important contributions parents
make to their children’s education and the future of the Ferndale Schools. Please share
the information below and invite others from your school or group to participate in the
upcoming Focus Groups as part of the district’s Strategic Plan process.
