PROBLEM ACTION<br />
1. NO RADIO DECODE A. Unit was not armed before sending a<br />
DTMF function code (or) Unit is not<br />
programmed to recognize that particular<br />
code sequence (or) Signal is not being<br />
received properly.<br />
B. Verify programming is correct. Check the<br />
received audio signal quality at the RX test<br />
pin on the front of the control board.<br />
2. NO TWO TONE DECODE Decoder not programmed. Check radio<br />
connections if external (see wiring diagram).<br />
Check for proper C/D polarity setting. Insure<br />
that radio is working properly by using a<br />
service monitor to inject a strong, clean<br />
3. LOW OUTPUT FROM SPEAKER<br />
ARRAY<br />
4. FUNCTION STOPS BEFORE<br />
NORMAL TIME-OUT<br />

Check battery voltage. Check speaker<br />
impedance (see maintenance section).<br />
Also, check signal indicators on amplifiers<br />
during a function. If indicators are off,<br />
remove amplifier for service.<br />

5. LOCAL PA FEEDS BACK Lower PA volume using knob above MIC<br />

Hold MIC close to mouth. Increase PA<br />
volume using knob above MIC connector.<br />
Check that charger fuses are intact and<br />
check charger output.<br />
Load test batteries.<br />
8. EOWS*612 DOES NOT ROTATE Check that the rotation relay on the system
