in connection with the grant of extension of time for completion of the above said work.
After considering your request carefully, under the provision of clause 5 the date of completion for the
above mentioned work as stipulated in the above said agreement is extended up to
……………………………… without prejudice to the right of the Government to recover compensation in
accordance with the provision of Clause 2 and other clauses of the said agreement.
Provided that notwithstanding the extension hereby granted, time is and shall still continue to
be the essence of the said agreement.
