A Moment with the Pastor
What a privilege to pastor a church
that is striving to live out the truth of
“Gathering in Unity”! Last Sunday
morning, our rope visual, drama, and music helped
us reflect on the fellowship and community of FBC.
We are one body. Our world needs to see this unity
that we have in Christ Jesus. This is what will attract
people to the Kingdom when they see we have
love for one another. Unity does not mean uniformity.
It does mean, as Paul said in Philippians 2:2,
“...working together with one mind and one purpose.”
God can do so much when we are “Gathered
in Unity”.
April 25 our Sunday School theme is
“evangelism” and our worship theme is “welcoming
and sharing”. May God bless us as we grow to be
effective, transformed believers for the Kingdom.

On Sunday night May 2
at 5:00 p.m., we will have the opportunity
to do something new and
different. We will have a prayer
walk around our campus. What
makes this activity unique is that
we will do it collectively as a church. We encourage this
to be an event that families will practice together. The
Transformational Prayer Team will be organizing and
leading this event and ask that you pray for and support
this effort with your participation. The prayer walk will
begin in our Worship Center and will involve prayer stations
around our campus. Please mark your calendars
plan to attend this important event for spiritual transformation.
We pray together "Lord, how do you want to
transform me?"
