A Moment with the Pastor
I appreciate our mission trip team reports on Sunday mornings. As a church
family we need to hear these brief reports and see a few slides of how God used our
folks to serve Him. By hearing and seeing, it provides a tangible point of reference
to pray for our mission teams whenever they go. Also, I hope that you will be sensitive
to God leading you to be involved in missions whether it is our Jerusalem,
Judea, Samaria or international missions.
Our music in all three services yesterday was exceptional. What a blessing to be a part of a
musically talented church. Make sure you compliment and encourage our music leaders, choir
members, musicians, and special music vocalists.
See you Sunday for another great day!
The Minister of Education
Travis
homemade cookies and brownies, plus children will have an opportunity to make appreciation cards
to deliver.
We are looking forward to our first H.E.A.R.T.S. Luncheon of the year on Tuesday,
September 18, at 11:15 a.m. The theme will be Team Colors. You are welcome to wear
your favorite team’s colors or team wear. Our guest speaker will be Chad Anderson, Prattville
fellowship. As always, our H.E.A.R.T. Committee will lead with a fun environment. Please
bring a side dish or dessert. The meat and drinks will be furnished.
September 23 will be our next SERVE event. We will honor our First Responders with baked goods
information. Nursing home visits will be made, along with a church prayer walk. Please mark your calendars
