1. Fast Neutron Cross Sections by Activitation Techniques

The reactions d8 Sr(n,p) 88 Rb(E =8.0-9.2 MeV, 6B =0.o5 MeV and
o o o o
E - 14 MeV) and Pb(n,p) Tl(E =17.0-18.4 MeV, ÔE =0.10 MeV
n ' n ' n
and E » 14 MeV) have been investigated. The neutron energy
spread was approximately 100 keV and absolute cross sections
were obtained with an estimated uncertainty of about +; 20 tfo.
