Special attention has "been given to the preparation [371»[38], of pure uranium sources and their accurate analysis [3931*4-0] T4-1]. About 50 sources have been prepared for the determination of the half lives of the U-isotopes. These measurements, in cooperation with the radionuclides laboratory, are nearly finished, and will very probably provide an accuracy of a few tenths of a percent.
