We’ll ferry you aboard a special streetcar to historic Ybor City,
home to the finest hand-rolled cigars and the 100-year-old
Columbia Restaurant. There, fifth-generation descendents of
the original restaurant owners will regale you with Latin
cuisine in classically picturesque and newly updated facilities.
The presentation of EWRI Service, Standards Council, Section
& Branch, and Student Awards will follow dinner. Flamenco
dancers and live music will cap our evening in Tampa’s
not-to-be-missed prime nightlife district.

experiences to local students at the Florida
Aquarium and in the Congress Exhibit Hall. For

World Environmental & Water Resources Congress 2007
Students are encouraged to register for and attend
Congress events at greatly reduced rates. In addition
to getting technical enrichment and a special introduction
to the environmental and water resources
engineering field, students may take part in special
student activities. New Professionals are also
encouraged to take part in and attend these
activities.
Several of these activities are already underway
– designed to culminate with high excitement at
the Congress on Thursday. These include:

Student Registration (with valid Student ID required at

March 31; and $175 thereafter and onsite. Includes sessions,

We encourage you to invite your spouse and other
guests to join us for the Congress. We will feature
a special Spouse/Guest Breakfast on Tuesday,
May 15 from 8:45 to 10:30 AM, at a cost of $25.
At this breakfast, spouses and guests will have the
opportunity to gain new perspectives about the
area and tips for day-trip destinations. Spouses and
guests are invited to attend this breakfast and all
Congress social events and tours on an à la carte
basis. Please provide your spouse or guest’s full
name on your registration form (see page 15)
and purchase“additional tickets” to assure their
reservations.
