Cel zajęć Wykłady zostaną poświęcone analizie dyskursu. Z perspektywy
poszczególnych podejść do dyskursu zostanie zaprezentowany
model analizy przekładu jako szczególnej formy dyskursu.

The lectures will be devoted to discourse analysis. Various
approaches to discourse will serve as a starting point for the
presentation of a discourse oriented framework for the analysis of
translations as a special case of discourse.
1. Discourse analysis as “one of the most vast, but also least defined,
areas in linguistics”.
2. Defining discourse: formal versus functional approaches. Speech
act theory. Interactional sociolinguistics.
3. Defining discourse. The ethnography of communication.
Pragmatics.
