(2000 – 2009) available through MUSE, ProQuest and JSTOR and
will be printed out and distributed to students during classes.
Stopień zaliczający jest wypadkową uczestnictwa w zajęciach (60
punktów) i pisemnej pracy zaliczeniowej (40 punktów). Niezbędny
jest aktywny udział w zajęciach. Zależnie od poziomu aktywności
za każde zajęcia student otrzymuje od 2 do 4 punktów.Z końcem
semestru studenci przedstawiają pracę pisemną o objętości 1200
słów. Ich zadaniem jest lektura i analiza wybranych esejów i/lub
wywiadów z pisarzami, a następnie przedstawienie, w jaki sposób
sformułowane w tekstach programowych założenia znalazły
odzwierciedlenie w praktyce literackiej. Minimalna liczba punktów
wymagana do uzyskania zaliczenia: 65 / Final grade will come from
class attendance and performance (60 points) and a final written
assignment (40 points). Participation in class discussions is
necessary and required. Depending on a contribution to the
discussion a student can earn 2-4 points for each class.
By the end of the semester the students are expected to prepare one
1,200–word long written assignment. They will have to read and
analyze essays and/or interviews with a writer of their choice and
demonstrate in what ways (if at all) the ideas the writer expresses in
his/her non-fiction, public statements and/or interviews are
explicated and elaborated in his/her fiction.
The minimum passing grade for the course is 65 points.
