Cheerleading Camp
for boys & girls
Registration has begun for girls
and boys for this summer’s Upward
Cheerleading Camp in Ferndale. It
is open to children in grades K-6.
The camp runs from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.
each day from July 22 - 26 at
Ferndale Free Methodist Church.
The church is
located at 1950
Woodward
Heights, Ferndale,
next to Webb
Elementary.
The early
registration cost is $35 per child;
after June 15 it goes to $50. The
deadline for registration is June 30.
Scholarships are available.

FPS Staff recognized at annual celebration
The Fernale Public Schools held its Annual Recognition
Celebration honoring staff and retirees on Friday. The event
recognized three future Teacher Scholarship Recipients who in
turn honored those teachers who inspired them to become educators.
The program also recognized the Teachers of the Year;
Employees of the Year; and 2013 Retirees.
A highlight was the drawing held by Rick Perry of The Suburban
Collection for a vehicle lease for a year won by Ferndale Schools
Middle School Teacher of the Year, Jason Gillespie (right) . Congratulations
