1) Dr. R.V Sharma, DDGM attended a meeting chaired by Chief Minister, Govt. <strong>of</strong> Maharashtra on<br />
10/08/2010 at sahyadri State Guest House regarding oil spill <strong>of</strong>f Mumbai coast due to collision <strong>of</strong><br />
two ships MV Khalijia and MSC Chitra.<br />
2) The flag hoisting ceremony was held on 15 th August 2010 on the occasion <strong>of</strong> Independence Day at RMC<br />
Mumbai <strong>of</strong>fice. The National Flag was hoisted by Dr. R.V Sharma, DDGM. The same was also celebrated<br />
by other subordinate <strong>of</strong>fices/observatories in this region.<br />
