3.6.3 Astro in WAN
It is not possible to set a default router in Astro. The use of Astro in
WAN’s is therefore somewhat more complicated. This can also be
the case in LAN networks that use routers.
3.6.4 Bill of Materials
Central Unit
To use Astro in these situations it is necessary to set the router (that
Astro uses) to respond to ARP requests with its own MAC address
for all IP addresses behind the router. This is possible with most
routers but is not always the setting used as default. Consult your
network manager for more information.
