<strong>Astro</strong> is programmable to function with various types of readers.<br />
Readers from third parties can also be used. The settings for standard<br />
readers are given in chapter 3.6.1, page 3-17.<br />
► Test the reader with a badge.<br />
After the system is programmed for the <strong>co</strong>rrect reader type, present<br />
a badge to the reader and use the Transaction report in the system<br />
menu Reports to check if the settings are <strong>co</strong>rrect. Access will not be<br />
granted as the badge has not yet been programmed to allow this,<br />
however the transaction will indicate the badge has been read properly.<br />
